David loved reading, walking, writing poetry, cycling, art, sport, birdwatching, debating politics, cooking off-recipe, listening to music and conducting in the air with his eyes closed.

A poet, David was known and loved in East London poetry circles for his fusion of art and poetry performance. 

He was utterly committed to his work supporting people with mental health and housing issues.

David was deeply loved and is deeply missed.
